Buying Furniture I just purchased my first home and have very few pieces of furniture. Where should I start? Hendrixson s is happy to help you integrate new furniture with existing pieces. If you re purchasing furniture for the first time, we suggest you bring your floor plans and any other information you have about the space you'll be furnishing  photos, paint colors, fabric swatches, perhaps something you love and would like to be a focal point. We ll help you choose furniture that is a good match with your personality and style. We can work on a long-range plan and step into it as you gain confidence and your budget allows, we can work one room at a time, or we can furnish an entire home! I am building a home theater. Do you have any furniture appropriate for this type of space? Several of our manufacturers offer pieces that beautifully furnish home theaters. Ekornes, for one, has a whole home theater system, and Hancock & Moore carries fine leather furniture that offers visual appeal and the ultimate in comfort for enjoying movies at home with friends and family. I just built a new deck. Do you carry patio furniture? We are the area's exclusive carrier of Brown Jordan furniture. Brown Jordan has a lovely collection of patio and deck furniture in beautiful styles. There are a variety of pieces and accessories that can be grouped in settings for the space you have available. I have purchased a second home that is quite far from here. Can Hendrixson's help me decorate and furnish this property I'm so excited about? Absolutely! Our staff has delivered furniture to such locations as Natucket, Hilton Head, Florida, and the Jersey Shore. We ve had furnishings shipped to Wyoming and our staff has gone there to set things up! Many people who appreciate our service and quality standards take advantage of our design services and work with us when furnishing second homes. Do you sell gift certificates? Yes! Gift certificates provide your friends and family with the gift of choice! Ordering/Delivery/Setup Can I order furniture through the Hendrixson s Web site? Hendrixson s does not sell furniture over the Internet. We think it s important that customers shop locally with people they trust who stand behind the products they sell. We offer multiple services  a professional, knowledgeable staff, design help, and a multitude of choices in furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories  in person in our many beautiful showrooms. Browsing through our collections and speaking with our staff can help you decide upon furnishings that fit your lifestyle and personality. May I transport the furniture purchases on my own? You're welcome to transport furniture on your own, however we like to fully prepare the furniture for the move. We take the time to check all of our furniture before it leaves the store or warehouse to ensure that our quality expectations have been met. We professionally polish all casegoods and look for possible imperfections or damages that may have occurred in transit. We stand behind everything we sell and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. How will my furniture be delivered? Our staff of professionals personally delivers all of the furniture we sell. Many of our colleagues have more than 20 years experience in furniture delivery. We don t sub-contract our delivery service, so you can rest assured that the your new furnishings will be delivered and set up just as you envisioned. Will I have to assemble any of my furniture? We assemble and set up all furniture that we deliver. If the furniture I purchase is in stock, how long will delivery take? If the furniture you purchase is in stock, we will work around your schedule. We need to allow time for the preparation of the furniture, including unpacking and inspection in the warehouse This process allows us to be certain that when we deliver the furniture to your home, it will be in pristine condition. One of our colleagues will telephone you to set up a delivery time that generally has a 2-hour window of time during which we will arrive at your home to make the delivery. Repairs/Maintenance How do I repair my furniture if it gets scratched or nicked? It s best to leave repairs to professionals. Hendrixson s offers professional repair service for reasonable costs on the furniture we sell. Your furniture can maintain its beautiful appearance for years to come. Can I special order pieces that you don't have in stock? Absolutely. In fact, while Hendrixson's has rooms and rooms of furniture to choose from and sells many items directly from our showroom floor, nearly 75 percent of our business is done through special orders. We offer many wonderful styles of furniture, selections of fabrics and leathers, and special trims from many of today's most respected manufacturers. We offer traditional, transitional, mission and French furnishings in a broad price range. We encourage customers to choose furniture and accessories that fit their lifestyle, interests, and budget.
Design Services Do your designers give in-home consultations? We happily provide in-home consultations and ask you to visit one of our stores first. That way you ll see firsthand how many styles you have to choose from. And we ll be able to walk through our showrooms with you to get a feel for what you like. What designer will I work with? We have 13 designers on staff. All are experienced and have special areas of interest. We try to match your interests and choice of style with a designer you ll enjoy working with.
Locations How many stores do you have? We have three locations to serve you as you furnish your home. We have one showroom in Furlong, Bucks County on Route 263 and another in Emmaus, Lehigh Valley at the intersections of Routes 29 & 100. Both the Furlong and Emmaus locations are open Tuesday though Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We also have a warehouse center that is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., located on Doyle Street in Doylestown. Stop in at any or all of our stores to see our collections! What brands are available through your warehouse center? Nearly all of our brands are available in our warehouse at one time or another. We rotate stock as pieces are sold and new ones are brought in  so visit often!
